With offices in Washington, Tokyo and Seoul, MASA Inc. specializes in comprehensive financial and technology consulting, including marketing and manufacturing partnership services as well as private equity transaction expertise in North America, Europe, East Asia and the Middle East.

From market research to financing, operating strategies to acquisitions and divestitures, and from international expansion to direct equity investment, our experienced staff of investment professionals understand the cultural imperatives of doing business across many regions. This understanding offers MASA partners rare insight, gained from decades of experience with the largest financial institutions,  multinationals, governments and the world’s most respected educational institutions.

Our financial consulting expertise centers on transferring new technologies to global markets. Our services include select capital placements, global investment opportunity evaluations, precise monitoring of current client investments and the identification of exit strategies.

In international technology consulting, we focus on successfully transferring new technologies to international markets. We work on the basis that an effective market entry strategy is multi-faceted and typically can include investment, manufacturing, marketing and distribution components.
In addition, we offer clients unique insight into the economic, political and regulatory issues crucial to successfully entering the global market.

Our clients include U.S., European and Asian entities, ranging from high growth companies to established, multinational market leaders. While the majority of MASA’s private equity transactions are in the range of $1-$10 million, MASA has executed significantly larger capital placements.

In its various project studies and evaluations, MASA , together with its participating project investors and partners, often utilizes independent expertise in analyzing and evaluating the utility and value of specific technologies and business development opportunities in such areas as biotech, nanotech, medical device, information technology, biofuel and alternative energy, environmental clean-up and remediation, communications, transportation and biometric/homeland security. In funding such studies and evaluations, MASA has sought the participation of leading scientists and economists, research and academic institutions, industry experts and financial analysts. MASA’s established funding policy is to pay for both direct and indirect costs; but, in no case, shall indirect cost exceed 10 percent of the total direct cost of the project study or evaluation.
